About Marie

In 1982 a worried mom looked at her 2 year old daughter who sat rocking and singing along to the songs from the radio. She had yet not said a word but she already had perfect pitch and showed an amazing musicality. Her mom was worried about the fact that she never spoke and had the little girl examined by a psychologist, who concluded that the girl was bright, creative and healthy, but tended to live in her own fantasy world from time to time.

That little girl was Marie. Her parents were both teachers and very creative people. Her dad wrote songs and played the piano and her mom danced, drew and painted a lot.

They lived in a house in the forest and the first part of Marie’s life impressions consisted of nature, animals, singing and drawing. She could spend a whole day singing and speaking with her drawings, imagining that the lines came to life.

Her big sister and her parents are loving people, who have always supported Marie, even though she has chosen a very bumpy and uncertain road. Drawing and singing was and is her passion. Marie learned to go through life and not around it, even though her family has stumbled on their way and bumped into many walls. It is no ordinary family, but a very loving one, which is a great source of inspiration for Marie.
