Heavy Coat

Marie Keis Uhre / Lilyphone

gee, my pockets' full

full of heavy goods

but my mind's tight hand and foot

gee, my shoes are worn

my feet are sore

I can't carry this much more

my heavy coat doesn't really seem to keep me warm

but baby, I'm standing in the storm

my rubber boots ain't exactly waterproof

but baby I will walk all over you

gee, my coat is on

my coat's on in the storm

but my load won't keep me warm

gee, my past will stab

stab me in the bag

I haven't felt this way before

my heavy coat doesn't really seem to keep me warm...

her heavy coat - my heavy coat...

but baby I will walk all over you

have you heard the chewing sound

as my rubber boots meet the ground?

you know I'm sinking low in my heavy coat

my bag stabbing past will take a dirt nap at last

to sum it up for you

I'm gonna walk, that's what I do in my heavy coat

my heavy coat doesn't really seem to keep me warm...

her heavy coat - my heavy coat..

but baby I will sum it up for you

sum it, sum it, sum it, sum it up for you...
